Biography

Whether acting, singing/songwriting or playing poker, Tiffany Michelle is a multi-talented performer and a fearless competitor.

In 2008, she put herself on the map as one of the hottest upcoming female poker players, when she outperformed her way to an unbelievable 17th place finish out of 6,844 players at the World Series of Poker Championship Event, breaking records for the largest field ever conquered by a woman in live poker tournament history. Her feat, and marketability, instantly skyrocketed her to celebrity status and made her one of the most sought after female poker figures.

In 2009, Tiffany's competitive drive landed her on the Emmy Award Winning 15th season of The Amazing Race, where she once again defied the odds and toughed it out on a 21 day race around the world as the season's only all-female team. But Tiffany has so much more up her sleeve than just a love for competition and a killer game of cards.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Tiffany was a natural born performer from an early age. At ten years old, she fell in love with the theatre, earning nominations two-years in a row for Best Young Performer from the Lancaster Performing Arts Center. She continued to captivate audiences on every stage she stepped onto; from sharing her piano and guitar music at singer/songwriter venues, to winning beauty pageant titles and nabbing trophies for her Dramatic & Prose Interpretation performances as the captain of her college Speech & Debate team.

After completing a two-year theatre program, as well as studying at UCLA's Film & Television Department, Tiffany made the transition from acting on stage to the screen where she began booking roles in major motion pictures as well as appearing in several TV shows including: ER, Gilmore Girls and American Dreams. Some Hollywood actresses wait tables between acting gigs but Tiffany Michelle opted for a table of a different kind to pay the bills - the poker table. She discovered that she had a natural knack for Texas Hold'em poker while frequenting a weekly Hollywood house game with fellow actors. Tiffany found that there was serious money to be made and it wasn't long till she carved out a name for herself, Hot Chips, because of her role as the hottest young female in the poker community and for her signature chip tricks.

The poker world took notice of the attractive, twenty-something girl, holding her own in a male dominated game. With her personal experience from the tables and knowledge of poker, combined with her television background and fun, comfortable personality on-camera, she began booking jobs as a poker host and commentator when she wasn't at the tables herself. In 2006, she was heard nationwide as an On-Air Host and commentator for the official World Series of Poker coverage on Sirius Satellite Radio. In 2007, she became the first ever FEMALE On-Camera Host for PokerNews and spent the following year and a half traveling internationally, hosting for the World Series of Poker, European Poker Tour and the World Poker Tour. Thus began Tiffany's immersion in the professional poker world, which eventually led to her famous run at the 2008 WSOP.

One of the few poker stars to be able to cross over into mainstream media, Tiffany has appeared on the covers of Steppin' Out magazine, Ocean View magazine, Rounder magazine and Casino Player magazine, as well as being featured in variety of worldwide publications. In 2010, Maxim named her one of their Top 20 Hottest Celebrity Poker Players. Other television appearances include TLC's LA Ink, Food Network's Worst Cooks, Fox's Cavuto, and GSN's World Series of Blackjack.

Currently, Tiffany Michelle resides in Los Angeles and balances the busy life of an actress and poker player with a variety of projects. She has her own t-shirt line, Tiffany Michelle by Black Ace. A talented musician and songwriter, in her spare time Tiffany performs music shows in and around Hollywood. She is also actively involved in several charitable organizations, lending her name and time to a variety of charities and fundraisers... and traveling the country for public speaking engagements.
